Bug Hunting with George
Pupils at Sark School had a nature walk with a difference recently when Dr George McGavin led them on a bug hunt. George is an explorer and natural history television presenter with a passion for insect life. The walk began in the Project Sunflower field then continued down Creux Belet valley and around the Eperquerie where George showed the children how to catch and view insects of all shapes and sizes and recorded dozens of species. George also gave a talk on Saturday afternoon.
