This Friday, 19th November, brings the Cheque Presentation Night when the Carnival Committee announce the total raised for the Professor Saint Fund this year. There will also be an auction, dinner and live screening of the first episode of An Island Parish. On 21st November there’s an evening of darting excellence when two of the world’s best players, Terry ‘the Bull’ Jenkins and Andy ‘the Pieman’ Smith, will be competing at the Island Hall. There will also be a chance for local players to compete against the pros. The ticket price is £10 and funds raised will again go to Sark’s Emergency Services. On Saturday 24th November there is a Christmas lunch and sale at the Island Hall at 2pm. On 30th November Miss Sark Princess will switch on the lights at the Stocks Christmas Courtyard sale where there will be mulled wine and mince pies followed by live music from City Limits later in the evening. The Friends of Sark School are holding their Christmas Fair on Sunday 2nd December. Class One’s Nativity will be held in the Methodist Chapel at 4pm on 13th December and the older children’s carol concert will be at 6pm on 19th December at St Peter’s Church. Finally, if you’d like something completely different from the festive offers, why not join the yoga class on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm?
