This weekend, 3rd to 5th weekend, Sark Magic Society are holding a Festival of Mind Reading and Mystery with performances at the Island Hall at 7pm on Friday and Saturday and an afternoon show at 3pm on Sunday. Tickets, available on the door, are £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s and all proceeds will go to the Professor Saint Fund. On Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May, the Sark leg of the World Aid Walk will take place starting at the Island Hall. Registration opens at 11am with the walk starting at noon. On Saturday 11th there will be the Big Spring Jumble Sale at the Island Hall starting at 2pm in aid of the Sark Emergency Services calendar project. The courtyard markets outside the Visitor Centre begin on Saturday 1st June and continue every fortnight throughout the summer. Friends of Sark music are hosting Bartosz Woroch, a violin and piano duo, who will be playing sonatas by Strauss, Poulenc and Beethoven, at the Island Hall on 19th June and the cabaret trio Fascinating Aida will be performing on July 4th. Other events this summer include the Midsummer Flower Show on 26th and 27th June, Sark Folk Festival on 5th to 7th July and the Sheep Racing Weekend will take place from the 19th to 21st July.
