It’s that time of year again! Sheep racing is this weekend (20th and 21st July) with two days of fun, food, music and the woolly jumpers themselves. Entry is free and all the profits go to the Professor Saint Fund. The exhibition of ‘The Marine Life of Sark’ continues at the Visitor Centre and there’s an exhibition on farming on the island in the Société Sercquaise Heritage Room next door. Sark tennis club are holding their AGM at 5.30pm on Monday 22nd July and would welcome anyone wishing to join. The summer programme of guided history and wildlife walks continues this month with Visitor Office Karen Adams will be leading rock pool rambles on 23rd July and August 1st, 8th and 20th. Sark Garden Walks take place every Friday afternoon at 2pm. La Seigneurie Gardens has a guided walk with one of the gardeners every Wednesday at 11.30am. Guided walks around the Gardens for groups of six or more can also be booked in advance on any day of the week.
