Sark’s Methodist Chapel was full on Saturday for a very special Service of Welcome for Karen Le Mouton. After four and a half years of study, exams and placements Karen has qualified as a Methodist Minister and now has the title of Reverend. She has a further 18 months as a Probationary Presbyter then will become fully ordained. Friends and family from Jersey, Sark, Guernsey and England attended the service that was led by the Rev Dr David Hinchliffe, Superintendent Minister of the Bailiwick of Guernsey Methodist Circuit. Afterwards the congregation continued the celebrations with afternoon tea in a marquee by the Chapel. Congratulations Karen and best wishes for your future ministry here on Sark and beyond.
