Visit of Chelsea Pensioners & Ghurkas 10th May 2019 9.00am . 10.00am 10.15am Arrival by charter at Maseline Harbour. Around 12 in number. Toast rack up the Hill. At the top of the Hill some energetic ones who wish to, will go on a walk to Basalt, finishing at the Island Hall, accompanied by the Seigneur and/or Lynda Higgins. (Numbers of those wishing to go on this walk will need to be known prior to the day to ascertain whether one or two carriages are required at 10.00am). Visit to the Occupation Museum in Rue Lucas by the rest of the party. Pick up by carriage/s from the Museum to go straight to the Island Hall. Both groups to arrive at the Island Hall. 10.15am – Coffee at the Island Hall with the School children, possibly with parents, 11.15am and also open invitation to all Islanders to come and meet with visitors.. (Posters to go up inviting Islanders). 11.15am 11.55am Walk back through village to Bel Air for customary drink. Toast rack down the Hill for 12noon charter back to Guernsey.
