After a successful 1st year, Sark Roots Festival is back! Hosted on the beautiful Island of Sark, this event is a celebration of land, sea and community, promoting local initiatives with a global conscience. The three-day festival will showcase a full line up of music, workshops, local food, local brews, activities for kids and much more!
A wide range of workshops will include African drumming, tree pruning, permaculture, cider making, fire and forage, seaweed demonstrations, yoga, guided meditation, movement medicine, aromatherapy, and many more. With a main stage rocking out live bands, a D.J zone, creative arts and crafts and plenty of fun activities for the kids there will be something for all the family to enjoy.
With permaculture ethics at its heart, Sark Roots aspires to be a minimal waste festival encouraging festival goers to bring their own plates, bowls and cutlery in return for discounted drinks at the bar (washing up station provided). Reusable cups are available at the bar and upcycled pallet benches provide a variety of chill out areas.
