The Friends of Sark Music summer season of entertainment continued in great style this month with a concert by Fascinating Aida. The cabaret trio of Dillie Keane, Adele Anderson and Liza Pulman performed a selection of comedy songs as well as some serious pieces and Soprano Liza performed her latest single ‘The New Me’. Politics, celebrities, New Zealand and low cost airlines were among the targets for their satire along with a few naughtier numbers. Dillie Keane who accompanies the trio on piano founded the group in 1983 and she and Adele Anderson, who joined a year later, co-write much of the group’s material. With a simple stage set of a piano and a couple of stools the energy, wit and professionalism of the trio captivated the audience with this their third sell out performance in Sark.
