International Success for Rosie
Sark artist Rosanne Guille has had two of her paintings selected for the highly esteemed Royal Miniature Society’s annual exhibition. Rosanne, who studied at the Royal College of Art, specialises in watercolour paintings of Sark’s wildlife and landscapes.
This is the first time Rosanne has submitted work for the exhibition that features around seven hundred works and is the world’s foremost showcase for contemporary miniature art. Within a size limit of six inches by four inches, themes in the exhibition include portraits, still life and natural history. Rosanne’s paintings show views of La Coupée from the Pilcher monument and the Gouliot headland. The exhibition is on now at the Mall Galleries and runs until Sunday 27thOctober and admission is free.
