Jumbling for Nepal
The Island Hall was transformed into an Aladdin’s Cave of bargains recently when Zoe, Jill, Linda and their army of helpers held a giant jumble sale in aid of the relief efforts for those effected by the earthquakes in Nepal. The stalls were laden with books, clothes and a treasure trove of bric-a-brac that, along with the cakes, toys, raffles and the tombola, raised an amazing £819.
