Lynn Marie’s Therapy Studio
Lynn practised as a complementary therapist in the UK before falling in love with a Sarkese and deciding to stay on the island.
Lynn has been a professional member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists for over 25 years and elected to the International Council of Holistic Therapists and an associate of Therapy Lecturers, helping to impart her wealth of knowledge to others.
Lynn has her own therapy room at Les Ronche which is located near the centre of the island. She can offer a wide range of therapeutic and holistic treatments, either on their own or, for a real treat, a combination of them.
She offers a range of therapeutic massage using warm, soothing essential oils and hot stones from L’Eperquerie and Port du Moulin. The massage is designed take ease away any aches and pains, renewing the energy flow and your body’s vitality. The massage can be a combination of the traditional type with the masseur using her hands and a more modern approach using hot stones. The cost of massage varies according to length of time but starts at £35 for 40 minutes.
For the ultimate luxury facial massage, why not request a Marma – the science of life and the use of energy points on the body. This massage of the head, neck and shoulders gives the effect of a natural facelift by touching on the pressure points. Suitable for all skin types.
Lynn believes in the power of healing and when requested, she will include a Reiki healing as part of your massage. Reiki is a non-invasive complementary therapy that uses the natural energy flow to restore the body’s physical and emotional well being. First developed in Japan over a century ago, it gives the potential to feel deep relaxation, improve a person’s mood as well as their general sense of health and well-being.
All oils and creams are 100% pure, natural and organic and can be used on sensitive skin.
As a romantic, Lynn tutors couples on the art of massage so that they can learn new skills and take these home to help each other to relax and unwind from the pressures of work and everyday life. Tutorials can last as little as 4 hours or for a number of days, depending how much you wish to learn.
