The Isle of Sark Shipping Company’s new ferry, the Corsaire de Sercq, came into service today and will be doing the crossing from Guernsey in just 35 minutes, a quarter of an hour faster than the older vessels. The ferry, whose name translates as the ‘Sark Pirate’, is 12 years old and was bought from a company in France where it was operating out of St Malo.
The 2022 Sark 10 race will be on Saturday 4th June. The day includes a kids race (approx 2km), 5km and 10mile running races, and a 10mile walk which starts an hour before the running.
