Port es Saies

Tel: +44 (0)1481 832112 07781119015

Port es Saies cottage is situated on the west coast of Sark above Port Es Saies bay, which is not accessible by land. We are less than five minutes from the village on a bicycle or approximately twelve minutes walking. Nicki lives next door and is available for any help or information you may need.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 double, and 1 twin. A comfortable sitting room with television (in case of a wet day), and well equipped kitchen for those that like to cook. The bathroom has a shower for rinsing off all that lovely sea water. All linen and towels are supplied, but please do bring your own beach towels.
For early and late season wood and coal is supplied for an open fire or a gas fire for a cool summer evening. There is no central heating.

Green fields, usually with an animal or two in surround us. There is a secluded grassy area of land hidden away on which you can sit and see the sea whilst having your lunch or just enjoying a glass of wine.

There are hotels and restaurants within easy walking distance where you can enjoy good food or a quiet drink. There are several eating establishments we recommend just a little further away, however nowhere is very far on this island.

Although Port es Saies bay is not accessible there are several picturesque bays around the island. Dixcart bay being the closest and most family friendly.

Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. The Cottage will be available for you from 2 p.m. on your day of arrival and you are requested to leave the cottage by 10 a.m. on your day of departure. The deposit is non refundable should you have to cancel and the balance which has to be paid eight weeks before your stay is only refundable if I can re-let your booking.

Please make sure you take out adequate insurance as there is no reciprocal health agreement with the UK, all medical accounts must be paid for by yourselves.

Please refer to our website for further details http://www.baker.sark.gg
