Sark Art on Show
This week saw the opening of ‘From Life’, a stunning exhibition of images by Sark artist Rosanne Guille. The show features pieces created throughout last winter and spring capturing the land and sea in all its moods around Sark, Guernsey and Alderney. Rosanne trained in natural history illustration at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and at the Royal College of Art in London. This solo exhibition, which is held at the Space Ten gallery in Guernsey, sees her moving away from her studio-based pieces to work outdoors creating powerful storm studies in charcoal as well as delicate watercolours of the islands’ seascapes. The exhibition runs until 27th July.
