Sark School Nativity
After weeks of hard work learning their lines and the words to the songs, the pupils of Sark School performed a beautiful nativity play in St Peter’s Church yesterday in front of a packed congregation of family and friends. All thirty-five pupils took part in the musical version of the Christmas story called ‘Travellers’ Delight’ that was written by Tony Trigg as part of the International Song Project. Their lines were word perfect and the songs, accompanied by Kevin Adams on the church organ, were lovely. The youngest children of Class One were dressed as farmyard animals, Class Two provided a host of angels and three kings and other pupils played shepherds, Joseph and Mary.
