Sark Summer Festival
The weather was perfect at the weekend for the first Sark Summer Festival, three days of live music, fabulous food and entertainment for the whole family. The event was held next to the Coupeé and was organised by Sark resident Simon Couldridge when he heard, a year ago, that the Folk Festival would be taking a break this summer. Simon and his team did an excellent job of inviting a wide variety of musicians and bands for both the main stage and the smaller acoustic stage. There was plenty of fresh local food, including Sark lobsters, scallops and honey sausages, and Guernsey and Sark beers and ciders as well as lots of fun and games for children.
