Shakespeare at the Seigneurie
The audience were delighted by two shows from the touring outdoor theatre company, Oddsocks, earlier this week. They performed the Tempest, a version set in outer space and peopled with space captains, aliens and even a robot. Their matinée show was Romeo and Juliet with the warring Montagues and Capulets portrayed as mods and rockers on the Brighton sea front. Both shows were superb and extremely funny, keeping the audience laughing from the first second to the last. This was both the first time Oddsocks has been to Sark and the first time the new amphitheatre at the Seigneurie has been used for a drama event, a magical combination!
