Sporting Fun at Sark School
Parents and friends gathered on the Millennium Field recently to cheer on the pupils of Sark School on their sports day. There were flat races, hurdles, egg and spoon races and competitions including all sorts of other obstacles, bean bags and hoops. The events were finished with races for the Mums, Dads and toddlers. A few days later the older pupils took part in their annual mile race with a shorter course for the infants’ class. Jake Lalor was the first boy home in Class Three with Amelia and Brianna Southern and Lauren Dewe jointly taking the title for the first girls home in their class. Flynn Martin, Mali Chatterton and Freya won in Class Two and Nathan Joyner and Phoebe Higham were the winners in Class One.
