On Friday 21st December the mystery of the knitted sheep that have appeared all around the island was finally solved when Karen Le Mouton held the ‘Knitivity’ service at Sark’s Methodist Chapel. The sheep were placed in shops windows, the banks and other businesses during December and there was even one on a tractor. They formed the Knitivity Trail and each one was accompanied by a figure relating to the Christmas story. The flock was safely gathered in for the service that was also attended by real life sheep Persil and his shepherd Dave Scott.
