Top Chef Takes Over Hathaways
Diners at Hathaways, the café and bistro at La Seigneurie Gardens, enjoyed a taste of things to come at the weekend when chef Andrew Tortice re-opened the restaurant. Andrew is a highly trained chef with a passion for using local meat, seafood and produce and last year Beau Sejour, the restaurant here he ran for four years, was voted as the best in Sark and fourth in the Channel Islands by TripAdvisor. Hathaways was full on opening night when Andrew presented a special Valentine’s Day menu and was busy again the next day for Sunday lunch. He is open throughout this month for special bookings and will be opening full time for lunches, afternoon teas and dinner later in the spring.
