The Sark Dairy Trust was set up to raise money for a new dairy on Sark. On Saturday a fundraising event was organised by one of the trustees, Richard Axton and held at Time and Tide. Sark gains silver gilt award in RHS National Britain in Bloom Finals

Following an overall win in the Floral Guernsey Competition in 2018 Sark was awarded a place in the National Finals this year. There were some four-legged members of the congregation on Sunday for an outdoor gathering at St Peter’s Church where the annual service of thanksgiving for pets and animals was held. The second build-a-boat race took place recently with five entries building a boat from scratch in just a day then racing it the following day. The harbour hill was closed to the usual traffic of tractors and walkers this Friday evening for the island’s first lawnmower hill climb race.
