The island’s junior natural history group, Sark Watch, were hard at work recently making bird feeders. Phoebe Higham, who is working towards her Nature Ranger Award, led the activity. The children used recycled milk cartons to create seed holders, complete with a perch for the visiting birds, and mixed up seed and lard to make conical versions of fat balls.
