St Peter’s Church Fete
Tel:
The vicarage garden was packed recently for St Peter’s annual summer fete. There was plenty of good old-fashioned fun to be had with the coconut shy, hoopla, tombola and raffles as well as stalls selling bric-a-brac, plants and books. The tea tent did a roaring trade in scones with jam and Sark cream and the stocks were busy as people took the chance to throw wet sponges at each other. Along with the auction, the day raised over £2,500 that will go towards the Church’s renovation fund.
