Originally built as a working farm in the 16th century, Stocks has been sympathetically renovated and refurbished. The hotel brings a new level of informal luxury and personal service to the Channel Islands.
Today we are proud to maintain our reputation for providing the finest traditions of island hospitality enhanced by luxurious modern creature comforts. Stocks features 23 luxurious bedrooms and suites located in three separate buildings located in a picturesque, south facing, wooded valley in the heart of Sark.
Stocks provides the ultimate in rustic-chic charm and barefoot elegance. The finest traditions of rural hospitality blend with modern creature comforts. The hotel is family owned and personally managed, and we pride ourselves on offering excellent accommodation and superb cuisine.
The food at Stocks is sourced from local farmers, fishermen and growers wherever possible. Exciting combinations of fresh ingredients are carefully prepared and cooked to emphasise honest flavours.
The old Smugglers Bar at Stocks is steeped in Sark history. White-washed granite walls and traditional oak beams evoke memories of pirates and privateers from a bygone era.
Nestled within the gardens at Stocks is a solar-heated swimming pool with a children’s splash pool.
Stocks is truly a place to relax and enjoy, and return home feeling refreshed, relaxed and revitalised. The island of Sark has been associated with healthy living and a feeling of well-being for generations. The combination of the clean, unpolluted air and great walks with stunning views help you to feel stimulated and revitalised. Stocks is just a short walk from some fabulous clifftop paths, and being a small island you can enjoy spectacular views of both the sunrise and the sunset over the sea.
